The State of Maharashtra is one of the most progressive states in India. The welfare
of the common man is one of the core goals of my government and our vision is to
see that every citizen has access to basic infrastructure so that he or she is able
to realise his or her potential. The State is therefore committed to developing
physical and social infrastructurein both urban and rural areas for our citizens.
The State Government has decided to treat PPP as the preferred mode for implementation.
The State has put up its own Panel of Transaction Advisors which would support the
Government Departments and its agencies in putting up a good pipeline of PPP Projects.
